Program Description

Study Holiday courses are held throughout the year, lasting between 1– 4 weeks for students aged 11 - 17, however can be tailored to meet specific needs. Courses are focused on improving English through studying topics and project work. Lessons are interactive and aim to improve and enhance existing vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, speaking and listening skills.

Our student-centered course is designed to help you feel confident as you speak English. You will focus on your speaking, reading, writing and listening skills, as well as advancing your vocabulary and pronunciation.

Our teachers use a variety of classroom activities and teaching techniques to make your English learning experience positive and engaging, and most importantly fun! Our dynamic syllabus includes contemporary music, film and media, together with some fun face-to-face street surveys. Throughout the course you will participate in tasks working individually, in pairs and in groups, to develop your language.

What is Included

  • Lessons held on-site at Our School in Grade II list building
  • Full board host family accommodation
  • 12-15  hours of lessons per week  including entry test on arrival to place students
  • Fully qualified TEFL / TESOL English teachers
  • Maximum class size of 15
  • One full day excursion per week
  • One half day excursion per week
  • One evening activity per week
  • Various afternoon activities including sport
  • 24 hour emergency telephone contact
  • Groups accompanied on trips and activities by a full time local leader.

Travel & Accommodation 

  • Students arrive at the weekend
  • For every 15 students, 1 accompanying leader / teacher goes free of charge
  • Welcoming and friendly full board homestay accommodation including 3 meals a day
  • Airport transfers included for groups of 15+ from London Stansted or London Luton Airport (supplement required for other London transfers)

Activities & Excursions

  • Trip to London, see Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and the other famous sights of  our capital.
  • Trip to famous university city of Cambridge, tour of universities, punting along the River Cam and visit to Cambridge city Centre
  • Evening disco, sports events and a scavenger hunt
